Last months trivia question asked how did I get into magic...
I didn't. This is a very complex question that truly revolves more around my early childhood and abilities to pay attention to details. Without getting into it deeply, lets just say that out of survival, I was extremely observant. By the time I was in high school, I was able to pull off stunts and psychological experiments without anyone knowing. I was never aware of magic, magic communities, etc. I made up mind games and took advantage of situations... all of which closely resembled the "good stuff" in the arts of magic(it turned out). When in college, I met a few entertainers, magicians, and hypnotists. Strangely, I already decided to become an entertainer of sorts and never was aware of "magic" at all! Taking objects from people and figuring out what they are thinking was a fun challenge for me and I made it up as I went. After being introduced to the magic community worldwide, things solidified and I finally understood the rest of th
e picture!
So, to answer it in another way... I was more like a kid who picked up the piano by just natural ability combined with curiosity -without lessons or books. It's a little backwards and rare for magic, but I wouldn't change it.
